Job DescriptionOur client is a medical device company developing a new and innovative device to support the heart. The Electronic Engineer will have entrepreneurial spirit, the required persistence to succeed in a start-up environment, and the ability to work in a self-directed manner with minimal direction and supervision. Knowledge and experience in the development of cardiovascular devices/working within the medical devices industry would be very beneficial to this role but not a prerequisite. You will be a team player and have excellent communication skills.Responsibilities:
- Practical knowledge of electrical/electronic drawing/schematics, PCB layouts, and electrical and electronic testing and characterization.
- Experience working on electrical/electronic equipment from concept to production for a medical application
- This role will involve a mix of electrical/electronic design, simulation, testing, and characterization in a multidisciplinary project.
- The role will be hands-on and include using machines and test equipment.
- PCBA and Schematic capture through Altium.
- LTSpice simulation.
- Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment
- Design experience to comply with 60601 regulations / standards.
- Working closely with a multidisciplined team (Mechanical & Firmware/Software).
Requirements:
- 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role as an Electronics Engineer.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of Electronics.
- Candidates should have knowledge of FDA regulation processes for medical device engineering efforts.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic) degree required.
