Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As a Project Manager Officer, you will be responsible for establish and maintain enterprise standards, processes, and best practices of project management and Agile methodology, while ensuring projects are executed efficiently. You will develop program roadmaps and comprehensive plans while coordinating cross-functional teams to oversee all projects and initiatives in BMCC-CRE-PROC IT, coach Project Managers to deliver high-quality outcomes through engagement with key stakeholders to define program scope, establish priorities, and maintain open communication. You will implement risk management strategies and foster a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will drive business agility with a continuous improvement mindset and routines that support value delivery, analyzing program performance metrics and integrating lessons learned into future planning.What will you do?Hands on coaching PM /Scrum Masters and their teams in the Agile methodology and Agile best practicesDeliver training and mentoring to address specific observations from teams’ meetings.Lead the charge in enhancing Agile delivery processes through analysis of cross-portfolio challenges and implementing common solutions to persistent gapsEnsure risk management and control practices are integrated into the lifecycle of Agile initiativesSupport PM/Scrum Masters on completing AMF artefacts, expediting IRP reviews, etc as needed to ensure timely and accurate completion of required processesReview project health metrics and ensure that they accurately reflect the state of the projectIdentify needs to for new resourcing and screen, interview, select Agile PM/SM candidatesBuild a team of high performing PMs/Scrum Masters who continuously share lessons learned, develop best practices, and learn from each otherEnsure weekly Planview weekly statuses, BRD updates and other reports are timely, accurate, and conciseWhat do you need to succeed?Must Have10+ years of experience as a proven leader coaching and driving complex cross-functional program delivery, leading change, team collaboration, transparency, and alignment on goals and expectations.Demonstrated Agile delivery experience, with the knowledge and ability influence ways of working, set up scaled agile delivery squads and establish effective routines.Advanced stakeholder and relationship management skills, with a focus on building partner relationships and influencing outcomes with senior leaders.Advanced planning and scheduling expertise, with experience in building and maintaining detailed large and integrated program schedules, roadmaps, and timelines.Financial program management experience in budget management, financial forecasting, cost-benefit analysis and vendor invoicing.Advanced understanding and experience with risk and issue management frameworks, including the ability to conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain transparency in reporting.Nice to HaveCertification in Project Management and Agile Scrum MasterBachelor’s degree in STEAM or Business AdministrationExperience in managing transformational business and technology programs at a large financial services company.Professional Coaching CertificationsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
