For more information, please visit:The GAM Strategy team is responsible for supporting GAM’s Leadership Committee in strategy development, goal setting and prioritizing strategic initiatives. The team is responsible for tracking and reporting on strategic priorities and is the primary point of contact with groups across RBC regarding GAM’s strategy.The Associate Director, GAM Strategy will be responsible for maintaining reporting on strategic priorities, project management of strategic initiatives and supporting strategy development. This individual will also be responsible maintaining meeting minutes, contributing to designing meeting agendas and ensuring follow-up items are completed in a timely manner.What will you do?Enable informed executive decision-making through the production of competitive analyses and ad-hoc research pieces that describe the industry and competitive landscape, emerging trends and business opportunitiesInnovate by looking within & outside of RBC to identify opportunities to advance the business and improve client and business outcomeDrive the execution of the GAM strategy, including creation of strategic narratives, roadmaps and progress reportsLead select engagements alongside business and functional executives that will support business growthLead the quarterly strategic review processes across global lines of business in support of achieving strategic objectives, business performance goals and financial targetsEvolve the architecture for measuring progress against strategic prioritiesDevelop materials to clearly communicate and present the GAM strategy across a variety of forumsEstablish cross-business and cross-functional connectivity and collaboration to ensure ongoing strategic alignmentResponsible for maintaining meeting minutes for Leadership Committee meetingsWhat do you need to succeed?Must HaveMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering or Liberal Arts.5 – 10 years of finance, investment management, consulting or related experience, preferably in Financial ServicesStrong organizational skills / project management experienceAbility to build and maintain collaborative relationships across a wide range of stakeholdersNice to HaveAbility to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic business environmentProven ability to communicate with senior executives as well as build and present complex presentationsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
