The RoleOutsourced Collections Manager at SO ENERGYReporting into our Head of Payments, Ash 👋We are seeking a highly motivated Outsourced Collections Manager to oversee and enhance our third party collections operations. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies to maximise liquidation rates, manager third-party agency partnerships, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will also lead efforts to innovate and refine our approach to internal and external collections while maintaining a customer-focussed mindset.What you’ll be getting up to:
- Build, manage and improve relationships with third party debt collection agencies ensuring they align with our business goals
- Ensure that all third party debt collection activities adhere to industry regulations including GDPR and other reg requirements
- Provide quality insights and recommendations that drive continuous process improvement and cost efficiency internally and with our partners
- Monitor and evaluate third-party debt collection agency performance through regular KPIs, SLAs, and audits
- Shape and drive the collections and recovery strategy through third party collections agencies, ensuring alignment with both customer and commercial objectives
- Collaborate with internal and external training teams to ensure effective and efficient onboarding of collections advisors that meet business needs
- Proactively identify potential risks related to third-party collections, such as operational or reputational risks
- Collaborate closely with data & insights and our tech team to ensure accurate reporting and seamless sharing of data
This role will be a great fit if you have:
- A strong understanding of Collections operations
- Experience leading teams to motivate and drive performance
- Strong financial acumen and business insight
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to build and nurture strong internal and external relationship at all levels
- Experience in the energy industry or a heavily regulated industry is desirable
