Re-Advertise (WPE Program Officer – Sinjar)

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, women Studies, etc.).

·         Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

• Language Skills:  Proficient in written and spoken English and Arabic. Kurdish is preferred.

·         Clear understanding of human rights, and issues surrounding violence against women and girls.

·         Experience in counseling, social work, women’s rights, or another related field.

·         Understanding of case management, PSS, and life skills to promote survivor healing and recovery.

·         Demonstrated understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients/beneficiaries.

·         Previous experience leading teams on response and risk reduction strategies.

·         Positive and professional attitude, including ability to lead and work well in a team setting.

• Strong ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.

·         Excellent organizational, communication and management skills.

·         INGO experience preferred.

• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email

Total benefits:

• Salary range: (2,026,545 – 2,634,509) Iraqi Dinars, based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity and budget as well as calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
• 13^th month salary per year.
• 21 days of leave and 15 days of paid holidays per year.
• IRC provides health insurance for staff and their dependents.
