Description:We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacist to join our Mental Health Pharmacy team. The post holder will work as an integral member of consultant led multi-disciplinary mental health teams to provide a patient centred, safe and effective clinical pharmacy service to both in-patients and out-patients in Grampian. The post holder will have the opportunity to work across a range of clinical settings including, Adult Mental Health, Old Age Psychiatry, Learning Disabilities, Rehabilitation, Forensic and Eating Disorders Services. As a member of the pharmacy team the post holder will also support the technician led dispensary service to ensure efficient & responsive supply of medicines to patients within the Mental Health Service. This post also includes a commitment to rotational weekend working in the dispensary at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI).The post holder will have a Masters Degree in Pharmacy, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have completed or be undertaking Hospital post-registration training or have equivalent experience.A provisional date of Wednesday 11th of December 2024 has been set for interviews.An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidatesFor more information or an informal discussion, please contact Fiona Raeburn, Principal Pharmacist (Tel 01224 557561 or 557489).NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
