Established 35 years ago, we have become the market leader in global telehealth services and digital health solutions for an extensive client base of Fortune 500 companies, NGO’s and governments around the world.About the roleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to take ownership and execute all financial control responsibilities for our legal entity. This role involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory standards, and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will be a key business partner, engaging with various stakeholders to maintain and apply operating procedures and policies.Key responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
- Compile annual consolidation packs and statutory annual financial statements.
- Handle regulatory returns, including VAT returns, corporation tax, payroll, and related documentation.
- Maintain transfer pricing documentation and corporate secretarial governance and compliance.
- Act as a key business partner, engaging with the business and shared services to ensure adherence to operating procedures and policies.
- Manage, support, develop, and encourage teamwork among direct reports to meet financial responsibilities promptly.
- Support, review, and ensure compliance in accounting functions performed by shared services in Prague and Kuala Lumpur.
- Own and control all balance sheet items monthly, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and intercompany balances, ensuring processes and compliance reviews are in place to mitigate financial risks.
- Engage with and manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and tax consultants.
- Ensure proper functioning of treasury relationships to achieve cash holding and cash flow targets, including cash flow reporting and management.
- Manage foreign exchange exposure, including balance sheet and cash flow hedging, ensuring exposure and forex impacts are minimized, correctly interpreted, analyzed, and reported.
- Fulfill any ad hoc responsibilities as defined by line managers.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or any other international accounting equivalent)
- Proven experience in financial control and management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
