Description:This Ophthalmology HCSW role will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team, assisting with the provision of high quality patient care within our Ophthalmology department.The role provides an exciting opportunity to develop specialist skills, unique to Ophthalmology, in order to meet the needs of patients attending the department.The Ophthalmology department consists of a busy out- patients department where patients with general eye complaints, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease as well as eye casualties attend and a day surgery unit where a variety of eye surgeries are performed.
