Job Title: Roofing Product ManagerLocation: We are seeking a Roofing Product Manager to join our Product Management team in the UK. At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.Join us and make a difference!Your Future Team:Reporting to the Head of Product Management, you will be part of the Product Management team that is responsible for delivering product propositions that maintain a sustainable competitive advantage with optimised efficiency, which contribute towards the growth and profitability of the product portfolio.What you will be doing:

  • Managing a portfolio of products at product group, range and SKU level to increase market share, improve profitability, enhance business efficiency and maximise customer satisfaction
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the target market segments and channel
  • Working closely with the commercial team to build and own a comprehensive 12 month rolling calendar, that supports growth in the target market segments through improved product value propositions and product development
  • Undertaking wider market and customer research in collaboration with the Market Intelligence function to understand macro market influences and opportunities
  • Mapping products against building regulations and codes or construction types for effectiveness, cost and performance
  • Defining proposition features and advantages which deliver tangible benefits to customers
  • Training commercial teams to ensure maximum efficacy of sales arguments and collateral
  • Being the “product owner” for your product portfolio, including product information, product life-cycle, product specification, service levels, pricing and value offer
  • Collaborating with relevant sales leaders and the Finance team to develop clear pricing strategy for each product and ensure agreed structures are adhered to
  • Ensuring all product activities have agreed commercial targets, establishing and monitoring KPI’s and driving interventions as required to deliver on-target performance
  • Closely managing published product data, support product testing and certification, and ensure compliance with CCPI (Code of Conduct for Product Information)

What you bring:

  • Experience within a Product Management role
  • Previous experience in R&D or product development
  • Capability to write technical content e.g. technical datasheets, web content etc.
  • A good understanding of roofing applications and associated products
  • Competency utilising Excel and in analysing data
  • Previous experience creating product roadmaps and developing product strategies
