Who you are:Reporting to the Curriculum and Training Manager on the High School Outbound (HSOB) team, this role focuses on supporting academic components and initiatives for CIEE’s Global Navigator High School Summer Abroad (HSSA) programs through the development and revision of curricular and training materials, improving operational efficiencies, and ensuring that program quality and outcomes are consistent across programs. This individual supports CIEE staff around the world as they put academic plans into action for our 3- to 4-week HSSA programs for U.S. high school students exploring new languages, cultures, and subjects around the world. The person in this role should be extremely detail-oriented, excel at managing multiple projects, and be passionate about maximizing student learning and ensuring program quality. Limited travel may be required for this role (approximately 1–2 trips per year), and you may be asked to take our emergency cell phone to provide 24/7 support to participants and parents for up to one week per year.What you’ll do:

  • Provide ongoing administrative support related to academics.
  • Assist with the revision of syllabi and program calendars for HSSA programs.
  • Manage and update the database with instructor contact information.
  • Review and revise academic/curricular materials (e.g., curricula, academic overview docs, supplemental components, assessment rubrics, etc.).
  • Migrate, organize, and store course materials.
  • Help build out and administer online courses in Canvas, CIEE’s LMS, for students, instructors, and staff, populate with resources, etc.
  • Manage enrollments of instructors, students, and staff in online Canvas courses.
  • Create, duplicate, and revise Canvas shells.
  • Assist with the annual revision of the student “Know Before You Go” pre-departure course in Canvas.
  • Evaluate and synthesize findings from pre- and post-program student self-assessment results.
  • Provide pre-program and on-program support to international staff by promptly responding to inquiries and requests via email.

What you’ll bring:The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Exceptional eye for detail.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office required (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong proficiency with Google Suite required (particularly Google Drive, Google Slides, and Google Docs).
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems fast.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to achieve goals and meet deadlines required.
  • Data analysis skills for research are strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in an LMS (e.g., Canvas) is strongly preferred.
  • High school teaching experience preferred.
  • Intercultural skills preferred.
