The Integrated respiratory service has an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 administrator/ support role to join the Pulmonary rehabilitation team. The post is a permanent post, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the clinical team with administrative duties, whilst working as part of the busy therapy team.We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic healthcare assistant to join our Community Pulmonary Rehabilitation TeamYou will be part of the team composed of a lead physiotherapist, a respiratory specialist nurse, a health care assistant, and an administrative staff.A valid driving license is essential for this role as the post holder will be required to travel to various venues/ community centres within Buckinghamshire where Pulmonary Rehabilitation sessions are delivered.Main duties of the job

  • To provide an administrative and clerical service to facilitate the smooth running of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Therapy Service.
  • To liaise with the therapy reception team and other therapy teams in the management of clinics.
  • To assist the therapists in certain delegated clinical therapy duties.
  • To provide a front-line reception service, and to take the Pulmonary Rehabilitation department’s telephone calls and the whole therapy department where necessary.
  • To input data onto spreadsheets and run simple reports as requested e.g. for national audits and local reporting
  • To be involved in project and business intelligence work, as guided by the clinical team lead
  • To ensure that clinical areas are maintained in a clean and tidy condition
  • To be responsible for ordering stock and non-stock supplies.
  • Undertake duties to assist the Therapy Administration Team Leader as required.
