Our team members have what they need to make a meaningful impact and are truly valued for who they are and what they contribute.To learn more about CIBC, please visitWhat you’ll be doingAs a Consultant, Whistleblower, you will be responsible for supporting the management of CIBC’s enterprise Whistleblower Program by assisting with intake, tracking, and closure of whistleblower reports related to potential misconduct, legal breaches or regulatory violations. The role involves ensuring that reports are handled with strict confidentiality and in accordance to CIBC’s policies.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.How you’ll succeed

  • Operational Execution – You are attentive to the administration of Whistleblower business processes where you will assist with whistleblower complaint intake and documentation. You will support execution of quality assurance activities, ensuring whistleblower policies, procedures and reporting are properly executed.
  • Effective Communicator – Provide timely communication to whistleblowers regarding the status of their complaints and by acting as the primary liaison between the whistleblower and investigative teams in gathering additional information. You collaborate with internal partners to drive appropriate investigation activities.
  • Reporting Administration – Track the process of investigations, generate reports on the status of cases, and provide regular updates to Management and the Board.
  • Risk Identification – Ability to effectively evaluate reputational, regulatory and legal risks associated with complaints received through the program.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Governance – Ensure that all activities of the Whistleblower Program are administered in accordance with relevant banking regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Lead and support regulatory reporting obligations associated with the complaints resolution process.
