  • SEN Expertise Required: Previous experience with SEN children or in similar educational settings is essential to provide the highest level of support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and group support to students with a variety of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Assist teachers in planning and implementing tailored lessons that meet individual student needs.
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student confidence, social interaction, and active engagement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and school SENCo.
  • Support classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning space.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents, offering constructive feedback as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with SEN expertise.
  • A genuine passion for supporting SEN students and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, adaptable approach to meeting student needs.
  • Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential, if already obtained classroom experience.
  • Flexible working schedule.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
