Electrical Products supports SI solutions with low voltage distribution and control systems.The SAP Transformation Specialist for Production and Logistics will report to the Strategy & Process Technology department of Smart Infrastructure, Electrical Products for North America, responsible for operational strategy and advanced process development across all SI EP NA facilities.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:You will be part of a company-wide transformation project. For Production and Logistics arena, you will be in a team that will lead of the introduction of a new ERP system (SAP S/4) in our factories and supply chain. Your responsibilities include:
- Analyzing existing business processes that plan and execute diverse manufacturing environments (supporting complex make-to-order to make-to-stock operations) to identify needs and areas for improvement and developing a transformation roadmap.
- Standardizing and harmonizing business processes, promoting best practices, and managing deviations based on business benefits.
- Guiding the developing interfaces for data exchange between the ERP system and other systems (PLM, MES, CPQ, CAD, etc.) to create a holistic environment.
- Designing optimized production/business methods, along with capacity planning and utilization, from customer configuration to product delivery and after-sales support, with a focus on standardization and harmonization.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project goals, and develop a comprehensive project plan.
- Acting as a liaison between plants and central project management, defining a Lean ERP implementation approach.
- Guiding and supporting the project team to ensure successful implementation within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Staying updated on ERP and satellite systems trends and technologies and recommending continuous improvements ideas.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Information Management Systems, IT, or similar) or equivalent years of experience required for non-degreed individuals.
- 5+ years as a project leader/manager, preferably in ERP implementation or managing large projects (scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, prioritizing, risk management). Multiple years’ experience, working as Business Analyst specializing in Sherpa ERP software (incl. hands on experience configuring Sherpa ERP product, based on customer requirements & specifications).
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (emphasis on PP; MM, WM, EWM, SD, QM) and factory IT landscapes, with knowledge of engineering, production, QA, and logistics
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with lean techniques and modern manufacturing processes (data analytics, AI, visualization, error proofing).
- Hands on experience with process reinvisioning, multi-stakeholder alignment, and mapping tools such as: Visio, Planview PPM Pro.
- Excellent project management skills (developing plans, managing resources, executing within scope, budget, and schedule).
- Proficiency in communication tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio, Teams, Jira).
- Forty percent (40%) travel (may vary by location).
- Fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional, global teamwork. Fluency in German, Spanish, and/or French is a plus.
- Adaptability to dynamic environments.
- Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong data analytics and digitalization experience.
- PMP Certification with proven project successes.
- Skilled in relationship building and team motivation.
- Experience in engineer-to-order/make-to-order environments in the electrical apparatus/power distribution industry.
- Expertise in developing and framing full-scale projects and communication plans.
- Effective collaboration across all organizational facets, from design to delivery.
- Diligent and transparent project reporting and control.
- Monitoring and predicting project performance to meet timelines, manage teams, budgets, and resources.
- Skilled in conflict resolution, risk identification, and mitigation.
