£400–£600 per week (based on experience and hours worked)About the RoleConnex Education is delighted to offer an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Worker to join our team, working with a primary and secondary school in Stoke. This full-time role involves supporting pupils with additional learning needs in both one-to-one and group settings, creating a nurturing and engaging environment to promote their educational and emotional development.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in their daily learning activities.
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) to achieve learning objectives.
- Support pupils in managing their behavior and emotions.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to ensure consistent and effective support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
About YouWe are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN, either in a school or a similar setting.
- Demonstrates patience, resilience, and a passion for helping pupils reach their potential.
- Is confident in managing challenging behavior.
- Holds a current DBS on the update service or is willing to apply for one.
- Can commit to working school hours, Monday to Friday.
