For more information on the courses and modules we currently provide please see our website:ResponsibilitiesCandidates should be able to teach modules across Media Production in a way that is industry-focussed. In particular, you should have the ability to teach most if not all of the following modules:

  • Digital Content Creation (UG, Y1)
  • Intermediate Editing (UG, Y2)
  • Writing for Media and Communication (UG, Y2)
  • Promotional Content Creation (UG, Y3)
  • Audiovisual Media Production (MA)
  • Digital Content Creation (for PR and Marketing) (MA)

Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will have a good first degree and expertise related to Media Production and Digital Content Creation. You should have deep expertise in video production and the ability to teach postproduction software. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro will be tested at interview.You will be a team player and have a professional background in the media industries and the ability to share insights from that background in a way that is supportive of students’ employability. You will be able to relate to a generation of students more likely seeking to create content for TikTok or YouTube than submitting films for festivals.Additional InformationClosing date for applications: 13th January 2025 at 11:59pm.Interviews are scheduled to take place in late February or early March 2025.The selection process will involve an interview and a presentation.
