The RSK Group’s Treasury team are recruiting for a full time Apprentice Treasury Assistant to join them at our Head-office in Helsby, Cheshire.We offer flexible working, however we do expect a minimum of two days in the office per week.These apprenticeship provides an exciting opportunity to gain entry-level work experience and a AAT qualification with the support of an experienced and friendly Treasury team within our Finance department.We are looking for an ambitious, curious, and hard-working apprentice to join our team. You will be keen to develop and grow personally, but also want to make a real difference to the business.Your key responsibilities will be:
- Bank account maintenance. Responsible for maintaining UK and European bank accounts including but not limited to, initial set up of bank accounts, completion of banking documentation, completion of KYC packs, closing old bank accounts.
- Banking platform. Responsibility for administration of new users and accounts, changes in payment limits, access requests and monthly user access reviews.
- Cash management. Responsible for assisting with daily reporting on cash positions and review of cash pool limits, identifying currency requirements and actioning any required FX and updating cashflow forecasts where required. Assisting in providing funding to both UK and overseas subsidiaries.
- Bonds. Responsible for assisting with bond issuance and managing correspondence between the bank and subsidiary to agree bond wordings through to issuance.
- Credit Cards. Responsible for Credit Card processes including setting up of new credit card arrangements, resolving all card holder and business account queries in a timely and efficient manner and monitoring usage to ensure adherence to credit card policy.
- Support the Treasury Team with any queries received from the wider business.
- Management of all banking related post.
- Ad hoc support as required by management
Person specification:
- This role does not require any previous relevant work experience but experience in any sector would be an advantage.
- Has good and developing IT skills including use of Microsoft Office
- Is a competent and developing user of Microsoft Excel
- Have strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise, multitask and commit to meeting reporting deadlines
