Please note this role is internal only and therefore only available to current employees of Oxford HealthWe are recruiting for a Deputy Team Manager to work within AMHT overseeing all aspects of clinical duties as a senior practitioner within the team. You’ll act as Care Coordinator within the Care Programme Approach, working with patients with particularly complex needs and deputise for AMHT Team Manager when required.The South AMHT covers Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage & Faringdon and the Wallingford, Henley and Thame sector. This role will be based at Abingdon Community Hospital; covering Abingdon area.If you have leadership experience working with Adults with acute mental illness and you’re looking to advance your career in this area, we would love to hear from you!Main duties of the job

  • Provide clinical oversight and leadership of the current of the team, providing clinical and management supervision to staff
  • Conduct assessments, ensuring a biopsychosocial approach and relevant brief interventions as required
  • Be on the duty rota and triage new referrals as required
  • Attending daily patient flow meetings to provide an overview of the bed request
