The joint offering allows covering all aspects of data security for our customers in a way no other vendor can compete with and makes the Thales and Imperva brand the strongest in the market worldwide!Hybrid – Vancouver BC CanadaThales an Imperva Company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team to assist in developing Imperva’s fast growing Account Takeover Protection and Client-Side Protection SAAS offerings.If you have a passion for new technologies and getting hands-on experience creating enterprise-level solutions, you will fit right in.Key Areas of ResponsibilityTake an active role in developing a near real-time system capable of processing large volumes of events across the worldSolve challenging problems in terms of scalability, reliability and performance for SaaS products used by millions of users worldwide.Engage in development of an enterprise-level AWS based distributed SAAS solutionsLead a project from requirements to completion, through design, implementation & testingUtilize cloud technologies and modern programming and deployment practicesSet the standards for the best practices and code qualityCollaborate, demo and share your work with team members, product managers and stakeholdersTake ownership of new technologies that would improve our products and infrastructureMinimum QualificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceAt least 5 years of programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Python or RUSTStrong understanding of software development fundamentalsExperience with cloud-based software (preferably AWS) and microservice-based architectureExperience with designing and developing highly scalable SAAS systemsExperience working with data analysis using distributed SQL/NoSQL DBs systemsJoin us in shaping the future of data security.
