As a Per Diem Speech Therapist, you will work closely with patients in their homes to evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders. This role offers a mix of in-person and telehealth sessions to accommodate patient needs and optimize your schedule.Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver effective therapy sessions both in-home and via telehealth.
- Document patient progress accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on strategies for continued improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current Texas SLP license in good standing.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home health setting preferred.
- Telehealth experience is mandatory.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid drivers license.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
