Salary: £110 – £250 per dayAbout the School:Supply Desk is working closely with a highly regarded secondary school in High Wycombe that fosters a strong community spirit and sets high expectations for all students. The school is seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join their MFL department. This exciting role involves teaching French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4. The position is long-term, with flexibility for part-time options, but full-time availability is encouraged for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of engaging MFL lessons, focusing on French/Spanish, encouraging language proficiency and cultural understanding.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment where students can participate, collaborate, and excel in language studies.
  • Assess student progress through projects and assignments, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the department to enhance the MFL curriculum and improve overall student attainment.
  • Engage in regular professional development to stay current with best practices in language education.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (desirable, but not required).
  • Proven experience teaching French and/or Spanish at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong knowledge of linguistic principles and the cultural aspects of the French/Spanish language.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to meet the demands of a dynamic classroom environment.
