Job description

We are looking to recruit a Fleet Administrator to support the Group Fleet department on a fixed-term contract (maternity cover, up to 1 year) to provide administrative support. There is a possibility the role might be extended for a longer term.The role is part time, 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday 5 hours a day. We can offer flexible arrangements with a mixture of working in the office and from home after the training period.The requirement of the role will be to support the Group Fleet team with the overall administration and coordination of department related matters .This will be through managing project based activities, incoming queries and supporting administration.Responsibilities:

  • Managing and responding to incoming emails to the department email inbox.
  • Maintaining and developing the department intranet sites to offer a self service portal to over 200 Group companies.
  • Raising capex and purchase orders across fleet.
  • Using and supporting of the fleet database and telematics system
  • Liaising with internal and external customers and suppliers offering high levels of support and strong attention to detail
  • Manage company cars ensuring correct information is uploaded to systems.
  • Administrative support with Group Operator Licences

Person specification:

  • Team Player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence and influence at all levels within the business
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in using financial or accounting systems to create and manage capex and purchase orders
  • High level of organisational skills
  • Strong commitment to deliver results and make a meaningful contribution in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a well-organised and logical approach to work.
