OverviewAre you a seasoned leader with expertise in brand strategy and digital engagement? We are looking for a Senior Manager, Brand and Digital Engagement to lead and shape WorkSafeBC’s brand identity and digital presence. This strategic leadership role oversees web, digital, resource development, and creative services, ensuring innovative and effective engagement across all platforms while upholding brand integrity.In this role, you’ll develop and implement cohesive brand, digital, and content strategies, leveraging data and technology to enhance audience engagement and operational efficiency.How you’ll make a difference: You’ll help elevate WorkSafeBC’s brand presence and digital engagement, ensuring our messaging and services resonate with British Columbians today and in the future.Where you’ll workAt WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the collaborative energy of working in our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.In this role, you’ll work primarily from our Richmond office with some flexibility to work from your home in B.C.What you’ll do

  • Lead and provide overall direction to web, digital, resource development, and creative services teams.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate brand and content strategies to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with WorkSafeBC’s mission and vision.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of innovative digital engagement strategies to build strong connections with target audiences.
  • Monitor trends and technologies to keep engagement strategies relevant and effective.
  • Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to optimize enterprise-wide digital tools and platforms.
  • Drive content strategy across digital, social, and traditional channels to enhance brand loyalty and engagement.
  • Use analytics to measure performance, optimize strategies, and report on ROI.
  • Foster a supportive and high-performing team environment through effective communication, coaching, and development.

  • Travel occasionally to our other WorkSafeBC offices if required.

Your background and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in brand management, digital marketing, or content strategy, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in brand strategy, digital engagement, content strategy, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise digital enablement and collaboration with IT teams.
