Teaching Personnel currently have multiple positions available for recent graduates to join one of our client schools in Manchester as Teaching Assistants.The highlights of this position will include:

  • There are multiple positions available including full-time, part-time, and day-to-day supply role to accommodate to any additional requirements.
  • You will earn a competitive salary between £85 and £95 per day.
  • For the right candidates, there will be opportunities to progress onto other positions within different schools through Teaching Personnel to support you in your career development.

In order to be able to work within this school, you will be required to complete the Teaching Personnel registration process, this will include:

  • You must undergo a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check, once this check has been completed, you will be required to place it onto the update service.
  • You must provide a minimum of two employment-based references to cover the last two years of your work history.
  • You must also complete an online safeguarding course to ensure that you are well prepared to work with young people.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • You will work with the pupils who require additional support within school due to struggling more than their peers.
  • You should support the pupils and ensure that the pupils are gaining a better understanding of the subject.
  • You should answer any questions that the pupils may have regarding the lessons.
  • If you discover anything that you believe to be a concern, it will be your responsibility to ensure that this is reported correctly.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
