Job description
As an Automation Tester in our Driver & Vehicle group, you will play a crucial role in our newly formed Secure Image Management Systems (SIMS) DevOps Product Team. In this role you will work collaboratively with other Product Team members and design, develop and execute software tests (using automation frameworks and tools) for our new cloud-based SIMS application.Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software by identifying defects
- Develop comprehensive test plans and scripts for automated testing
- Design and implement automated testing into CI/CD pipeline
- As necessary, perform manual testing to identify functional or performance defects
- Document defects, their impacts and instructions on how to reproduce
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues
QualificationsKnowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- ISTQB certification is an asset
- Knowledge of the following:
- Agile methodologies
- Software QA methodologies, processes and tools
- Automation testing
- Asynchronous programming
- DevOps and CI/CD practices
- 2+ years of software testing experience
Technologies
- Languages: Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, Bash and PowerShell
- Test Automation Tools: Selenium, JUnit, Playwright or Cypress
- Interfaces: RESTful APIs
- Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab or Bamboo

Mandatory Requirements
- Fluency in English

Security Clearance Requirements
