UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE+ MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFEWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Mental Health team at HMP Stocken, a category C Mens Prison located in Stretton, Rutland.In this role you’ll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.The Mental Health Service is covered:Monday to Friday – 08:00-17:00Weekends & Bank Holidays – 8:30-17:30This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £47,466 per annum – depending on experience.How will we support you?Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training courseCompetency frameworkRegional and national career development opportunitiesOur bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needsSupport from the wider teamCandidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.Main duties of the jobAs a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Undertake assessments and manage and caseload for patients referred into Mental health services
- Provide advice for treatment options and initiate supportive care plans
- Work with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team

- RMN, Social Worker (Mental Health) or Occupational Therapist (Mental Health)
- Current professional qualification (NMC, HCPC or equivalent)
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
- Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards
