Your duties will include overseeing the entire inventory lifecycle, from incoming shipments to returns. You’ll leverage your strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities to streamline our processes and maintain accurate inventory records. - Inventory Management: Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, from receiving incoming shipments to processing returns. Maintain accurate inventory records by utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and conducting regular quality checks.
- Studio Operations: Contribute to the overall efficiency of the studio by organizing stock, preparing production samples, and supporting the team in various tasks as needed.
- System Maintenance: Maintain data integrity by utilizing computer tools to scan, enter data, and update the studio’s workflow management system.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the production team to receive and identify production samples for a variety of product categories. Assist in end-of-day procedures by verifying inventory accuracy and ensuring items are properly stored.
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve daily operations and productivity as it relates to processes and stock flow. Build strong relationships with other studio departments to continuously improve processes and to provide the highest quality of work.
QualificationsWhat sets you apart?1 year of operation or logistics experience in retail or related fieldWritten and verbal communication skills in English and FrenchComfortable with technology and mobile applications (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, etc)Knowledge of WMS systems, an assetUnderstanding of warehouse operations, an assetMust be open to work evenings and weekends as required, hours/ days of work can be varied due to the demands of the businessAbility to walk 5 km per day with equipment and/or stand for extended periods, when requiredAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull 30 lbsSkills:Ability to work in a team as well as autonomouslyGoal oriented, self motivated, and demonstrates a willingness to learnAbility to work within a fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-task and adapt to changeDetail oriented with strong time management and organisational skills
