We help our clients and communities create sustainable futures by fostering nature-positive approaches, which deliver social, economic, and environmental benefits.The OpportunityAs a leader in Nature-Based Solutions at Arup, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our impact across Europe and beyond. You will:Set the vision and priorities for Arup’s Nature Services business in Europe, positioning us as a market leader in this rapidly growing field.Develop and implement a business plan that aligns with future market needs and Arup’s global Nature Services strategy.Grow our portfolio of nature-related projects, securing new clients and building a solid pipeline of work across the region.Forge strategic partnerships with government bodies, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring mutual benefit and advancing nature-positive initiatives.Lead our Nature Services team’s recruitment, development and growth, ensuring alignment with Arup’s long-term strategic goals.Influence the design and delivery of significant projects, integrating nature-based approaches in innovative and mission-driven ways.Does this role inspire you?We’re looking for someone passionate about nature conservation and sustainability in the built environment. We also value:A degree in a relevant discipline, such as Ecology or a related field.Significant experience in a senior role in Biodiversity, Natural Capital, or Nature Advisory services, ideally within a global environmental consultancy or a nature-focused NGO.A proven track record of growing a business and delivering major nature-related projects across Europe, working with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and private sector clients.Expertise in European-level government policy and a strong connections network with key actors in the Nature-Based Solutions space.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire multidisciplinary teams and influence policy and practice at senior levels.Why Arup?At Arup, we believe in rewarding our members for their contributions to our shared success.
