Hybrid working: 2 days in the office per week Tues – ThursThe RoleThis is an exciting time to join our team at LiveScore Media, where you’ll be positioned at the forefront of decision-making and strategic planning, shaping how millions of users around the globe interact with sports. The Insights team is an integral and fast expanding department within LiveScore Group. As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you will support data driven decision making across the business to advise senior leaders within the LiveScore Media department. You’ll be empowered to make meaningful contributions, translating complex data into actionable insights that influence key business initiatives. If you’re driven by curiosity and enjoy being part of a high-impact team in a fast-paced, sports-centered environment, we’d love to hear from you!This role will focus predominantly on the maximising commercial revenue, working closely with various teams in maximising our bookmaker and non-bookmaker revenue. Our friendly and knowledgeable team is always at hand to provide guidance, brainstorm ideas and help teach new concepts that fuel personal and professional growth.The ideal candidate will have an interest in sports and media, as well as having a commercial background preferably in the advertising/publishing industry. Experience with analytics focused languages, reporting tools and experience working on cloud-based systems specifically large complex disparate datasets.Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders within the media ecosystem to understand their needs and requirements, as well as being proactive in using analytics to solve business problems.
  • Transfer business concerns and concepts into tangible data points and metrics.
  • A proven track record of leading projects, working collaboratively with various stakeholders in cross-functional departments and driving actionable recommendations.
  • The ability to examine and understand data from multiple sources to provide actionable insight and drive change.
  • Experience in condensing and navigating complex data, raising and collaborating with Data teams to find longer term solutions.
  • Monitoring the performance of the business and are driven to investigating changes in core KPIs that impact the Media business.
  • The ability to communicate complex outputs and findings in a clear, concise, and coherent manner, as well as the ability to get buy-in from senior stakeholders across the business.
  • The ability to prioritise personal tasks efficiently through understanding the business needs and value of each piece of work.
  • Self- identify areas of improvement within the business through proactive analysis and self-thought initiatives to support business growth.
  • To keep open and continuous communications with your manager and your team with regards to workload and projects.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • A strong understanding of the digital media industry landscape.
  • Proven commercial experience utilising and growing STEM skills gained either through education or within the workplace.
  • Proven experience working as a senior analyst, with experience of working in publishing/advertising in a commercial position.
  • Advanced understanding of SQL (Big Query) and analysing large datasets.
  • Knowledge of programming language, visualisation suites (we use Tableau and Looker Studio) or large data such as Google Ad Manager (GAM) or Adobe Analytics.
  • Any segmentation, clustering or modelling experience desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations and deliver regular reporting.
  • Ability to learn in a fast-changing work environment, diving in to challenges and proactively providing solutions.
  • Adaptable and flexible with an ability to multitask.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and coherently to senior stakeholders within the business.
  • Firm believer in teamwork & collaborating together.
  • Ability to coach and mentor other members of the team with a friendly and sociable nature.
