Job description
As an Automation Developer in our Charitable Gaming group, you will be an integral part of the team that is tasked with designing, developing, testing, delivering and maintaining the automated test and test tool infrastructure used by our development teams to ensure the software quality of our charitable gaming solutions.WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

WHAT YOU WILL DOAutomation Development
- Design, develop, test, deliver, maintain, and improve automated test code.
- Front-End Automated Test development using Robot Framework to automate the usage of UI elements for web-based applications.
- Back-End Automated Test development using Pytest to enable the testing of APIs, distinct micro-services, and database data handling.
- Develop Automated Test code that clearly identifies failure and points less technical users towards root cause failure.
- Design, develop, test, deliver, maintain, and improve automated test tools and frameworks that support automated test creation and execution
- Update and maintain deployment pipelines for automation environments
- Work with developers to create performance testing suites.
Collaboration and Communication
- Participate in code reviews and create and maintain technical documentation (strategies, plans, cases, scenarios) to facilitate knowledge sharing
Continuous Learning and Improvement
- Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices to continuously improve your skills
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, methodologies to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or similar program) or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
- Knowledge of the following:
- Software development best practices
- Object oriented design (SOLID) principles
- Agile development methodology
- DevOps methodology, practices, tools is an asset
- Performance testing is an asset
- 2+ years of relevant software development and/or quality assurance experience
- Experience with both front- and back-end automated testing
Technology
- O/S: Linux, Windows
- Frameworks: Robot, Pytest
- Methodologies: Agile, DevOps
- Automation: Azure DevOps
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Tools: TFS (Tean Foundation Server), Git, GitHub
