We welcome applications from those with the right to work in Ireland.About the Role/Job Overview:This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and execution of Aidlink’s strategic plan across four key areas:
- Policy Development and Coordination: You’ll conduct research, develop evidence-based policy positions, and advocate for change with key stakeholders. You’ll collaborate with our country programs and partner NGOs to ensure our work aligns with best practices and drives meaningful impact.
- Communications: You’ll craft and implement a compelling communications strategy to raise awareness of Aidlink’s work and impact. This includes overseeing content creation, managing our online presence, and building relationships with media outlets to amplify our message.
- Donor Relations: You’ll cultivate relationships with existing and potential donors, manage grant applications, and ensure effective communication and impact reporting to secure funding for our vital programs.
- Educational Outreach: You’ll play a crucial role in our immersive educational program, working with partner schools in Africa to develop itineraries, coordinate logistics for Irish students, and ensure a valuable cultural exchange experience.
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in International Development, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the international development sector.
- A proven track record in policy development, advocacy, and program coordination.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in managing and developing donor relationships.
- A demonstrated ability to thrive in a cross-cultural environment.
- Fluency in English.
