Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Rotational – 4on 4off (Days 04:00-16:00 / Nights 16:00-06:00)
Location: Stoke on Trent, ST4 4DGDHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders and tracking transportation vehicles.WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Managing driver paperwork and post-journey debriefing
• Managing the defecting process for vehicles requiring maintenance
• Driver performance management
• Communicating effectively with various parts of the business, including with the customer
• Managing the trailer pool for the site
• Managing driver hours and schedules
• Investigating incidents and complaints
