You’ll also work on minor installations for all electrical services throughout the University.In addition to a competitive base salary of up to £32,982 per annum (depending on your role), you’ll receive a market supplement of £2,000 per annum. If you work on the Day Shift it will be Monday to Friday business hours plus occasional weekends on a rota basis (approximately 5 weekends a year but you’ll only ever be required to work 5 days in 7). To participate in the maintenance operations on-call system as required.About YouYou will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations or Maintenance with the ability to carry out installation, maintenance and electrical testing and requirements in accordance with BS7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and Electricity at Work Act as well as an excellent understanding of Health & Safety and the associated processes.For further information regarding the skills required for this role please see the personal specification section of the attached job description.About the DepartmentOur Maintenance Operations Team is changing and growing and we’re looking for skilled people like you to help us shape and deliver our new, improved service.
