Step Teachers has partnered with a secondary school in the Broxbourne area to recruit a Media Studies Teacher. This school is dedicated to achieving excellence. This school has high academic standards for all students, as well as positive personal and social growth. This is an on going supply role, starting in January 2025.Media Studies Teacher – Role:

  • Strong knowledge of the Media Studies curriculum.
  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources, instruments, and equipment.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • The Media Studies Teacher must be able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Compliance with the school’s policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Media Studies Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • I have recent mainstream school-based experience as a media studies teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • A relevant Media Studies-related degree is desirable.
