The UK Mission to the United Nations & WTO represents the interests and policies of the UK at international organisations in Geneva and is now recruiting for an Assistant to the UK Ambassador for Human Rights and Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations.As an Assistant, the jobholder will be responsible for ensuring the Ambassador is supported to undertake her representational and policy work both in Geneva and also on her regional visits; and that she has practical support for the significant amount of social media and public communications that her job involves.Roles and responsibilities:Managing the Ambassador’s schedule and providing logistical support. Organising meetings, travel and events.Leading on the Ambassador’s overseas visit programmes.
