Job description

RSK Group is currently seeking to appoint a Finance Partner into the Agriculture, Land and Property Management (ALPM) division to support the business on its continuing growth journey. This is a permanent, full time position and will be home-based, although regular UK wide travel is a requirement (1-2 nights away per fortnight on average).As a Finance Partner, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Partner and Divisional Operations Director to drive financial performance and compliance of a portfolio of companies. You will develop relationships with the Managing Directors and local finance teams of these companies and act as the trusted partner on all finance-related matters.Responsibilities:

  • Supporting delivery of timely and accurate management accounts, forecasts and KPIs.
  • Supporting presentation of monthly results in meetings company Managing Directors.
  • Developing processes and control environment to align with Group requirements.
  • Leading the preparation of the annual budgeting process.
  • Acting as liaison / conduit with Group Finance.
  • Providing commercial support as required on tenders, pricing and capital appraisal.
  • Co-ordinating the year-end audit process with timely and accurate responses.

What we’re looking for:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and previous experience in a finance role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the business and develop strong working relationships.
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality, accurate and timely financial information, often to tight deadlines.
  • Commercial acumen and analytical skills, underpinned by strong Excel skills.
  • Technically sound knowledge of management accounting principles and practice.
  • Proactive attitude with a desire for continued learning and a level head.
