WPE Case Worker – Najaf

·         Education:

–          Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Gender Studies, etc.).

​

·         Work Experience:

–          Experience in counseling, social work, women’s health, or another related field (minimum 2 years).

–          Clear understanding of and interest in the wellbeing of women and girls and supporting their healing after the experience of violence.

–          Understanding of case management, psychosocial support, and life skills programming to promote survivor healing and recovery.

–          Experience in data entry, safe information storage and managing confidential survivor information, is desired

–          Demonstrated understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

​

·         Language Skills:  Fluency in Arabic required, knowledge of English would be an asset.

·         Positive and professional attitude, including ability to lead and work well in a team setting.

·         Strong ability to maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, and work in a difficult environment.

• Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel

Total benefits:

• Salary range: (2,026,545 – 3,242,472) Iraqi Dinars, based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity and budget as well as calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
• 13^th month salary per year.
• 21 days of leave and 15 days of paid holidays per year.
• IRC provides health insurance for staff and their dependents.
