Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping health and safety across a diverse portfolio of industrial facilities? This is your chance to lead health and safety initiatives within a well-established, yet growing company, where your expertise can make a real difference.Principal People are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Health and Safety Advisor to join a close-knit team and oversee a portfolio across the Northwest, West Midlands and Midlands. In this role, you’ll ensure health and safety practices are implemented and cultivate a safety culture across high-risk environments, including gas tank maintenance and various other industrial facilities.Key duties of the Health and Safety Advisor:

  • Implement and champion health and safety practices across high-risk sites.
  • Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, specifically around dangerous gases, offices, warehouses, and maintenance sites.
  • Work closely with senior management and be part of a collaborative team to improve health and safety culture.
  • Covering multiple sites in an autonomous fashion.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance, ensuring regulations are adhered to and safety is prioritised.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in health and safety, particularly in logistics, maintenance, or chemical manufacturing environments.
  • An understanding of dangerous gas regulations and high-risk environments.
  • The ability to communicate effectively across all levels, from shop floor to senior management.
