Job Description

  • Assist with month-end close activities
  • Completion of adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Reconciling daily bank transactions
  • Capital Spend tracking / Fixed Asset administration
  • Inventory reporting and analysis
  • Daily Sales / AR importing
  • Cost Centre analysis and ad-hoc reporting
  • Supporting the annual budget process
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Support accounts payable with general ledger account coding and purchase order review

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business or related field
  • Attained CPA designation or are actively pursuing designation.
  • Minimum 2 years of related professional experience
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills, reading and writing skills in English to communicate effectively with various levels of management and staff members
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Exposure to Sage 300 is an asset.
  • Strong attention to details, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work as a team member and independently, self-driven, adaptable, and patient.
  • Ability to meet deadlines (i.e., month-end closing).
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the organization
