It’s a unique opportunity to lead policy and influencing at a critical time for NYAS and the children and adults we serve. As Director of Policy and Influencing, you will play a pivotal role in helping us demonstrate the impact of our work and influence decisions that matter.What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving Change Through Evidence: Use your research expertise to gather and analyse quantitative and qualitative data that shapes policy and improves lives.
- Influencing at the Highest Level: Develop key relationships with Government departments, policymakers, and research partners to put the rights of children and vulnerable adults at the forefront of the national agenda.
- Turning Insights into Action: Translate complex research and policy findings into powerful, accessible messaging that inspires change.
- Building NYAS’s Voice: Lead campaigns, lobby effectively, and influence Government decisions to ensure every child and young person’s voice is heard.

- Proven experience in policy, research, and evaluation.
- A strong understanding of social justice, family law, and children’s rights.
- The ability to interpret complex research and data, translating it into meaningful action and clear messages for diverse audiences.
- A talent for influencing stakeholders and building high-impact relationships at a senior level.
