Start Date: January 2025About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed A-Level Mathematics Teacher to join one of our schools in Bradford. This is a full-time position, beginning in January 2025. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mathematics and teaching, with the ability to inspire and engage students at A-Level, ensuring their academic success and personal development.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality A-Level Mathematics lessons, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Contribute to the development of the department’s curriculum and resources.
- Offer support and guidance to students, helping them to overcome academic challenges and reach their full potential.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school-wide events.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages independent learning.
- Ensure that all students understand the expectations and assessment criteria for their courses.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (or working towards QTS).
- Experience of teaching A-Level Mathematics (or other post-16 teaching experience).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
