Are you looking for the chance to demonstrate and further develop your skills in report writing and data analysis?An amazing opportunity has arisen to join the Business Planning and Performance Team within NSPCC Services Directorate, as a Senior Information Analyst to cover maternity leave for a fixed term 12 month period.The position will begin in late January/early February 2025 until the end of February 2026. The recruited person will join a small well established team consisting of a Service Head, two other Senior Information Analysts and two Management Information Assistants to deliver professional, specialist, high quality analysis, reporting, and statistics in relation to key areas of the business including:
- Developing and maintaining dashboards in relation to specified areas and produce reports against the organisations strategic goals
- Running regular and adhoc reports from system reporting tools and analyse data where needed
- Writing high quality narrative tailored to the needs of a range of internal and external audiences
- Playing a key role in the development and delivery of the Services Quality Assurance Framework and reporting on its outcomes
The role will work closely alongside others in the team to deliver on a wide range of routine and adhoc tasks and have close contact with a number of other reporting teams across Services and the wider organisation to ensure consistency and a shared understanding of data results.The key skills we need for this role include;
- Strong report writing with the ability to tailor content for the audience
- Good data analysis skills to identify, interrogate and describe observed insights
- A high level of competence in MS Excel and some experience with PowerBI
