An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Outpatients department. To provide a Phlebotomy service within the Main Outpatients Department at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton. This will provide a service to cover clinics and drop-in requirements of patients within our locality.There is also a requirement to run satellite clinics within the locality GP practices.Main duties of the jobSuccessful candidate will need to:
- Draw samples as per best practice standards
- To positively identify the patients as per trust policy
- Adhere to standards of infection prevention and control
- Transport samples safely to the laboratories
- Working off site within local GP practices
