Job summaryThe Pharmacy Clinical Trials team at North West Anglia Foundation Trust is expanding and is now looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Pharmacy Support Worker to join our friendly team on a one year fixed term basis. The role requires working across sites, mainly at Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital, but may also require visiting other Trust sites.The successful candidate must have excellent organisational, communication and computer skills, be methodical in your working and be able to maintain excellent attention to detail. You will also need to be able to demonstrate the Trust values and meet the essential criteria as specified in the person specification.Hospital or Clinical Trials experience is preferable but not essential, as full training will be provided.Main duties of the jobTo assist the Chief Pharmacist in providing comprehensive specialist pharmaceutical care and medicines management by the provision of safe, appropriate and effective clinical pharmacy services within North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, and areas supplied under Service Level Agreements, ensuring compliance with current medicines legislation.To act as Clinical Trials Technician for the Trust.
