Job Summary:TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE – GTAThe primary duty is to increase sales volumes in the assigned territory by managing the customer base to reach or exceed company sales objectives and use all available resources to maintain existing customers, create new distributors, and identify new market opportunitiesSales volume growth is achieved through direct marketing to new distributors and end users, either through cold calling or by contacting new customers (leads). Activities and territory management are coordinated through the use of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM software, annual business plans, and customer Management Action Plans (MAPS).The Territory Sales Rep will have responsibility for the sales team and sales agents in the territory as well as for large-scale account (end user and Distribution) initiatives and programs for all business segments within the territory.The territory sales manager will execute the sales growth by providing leadership, hands on coaching and coordination of these functions, employing resources effectively and efficiently in order to grow sales volume and profitability in accordance with company objectives.Business Plan Development– Assist the Country Manager with the sales section of the annual company business plan with responsibility for the development of strategy(s) and action plans to achieve company growth objectives– Oversee deployment of Business Plan sales strategies and action plans with required progress and progress tracking reviewsPersonal and Professional Characteristics– Present oneself in a leadership position and role– Active listener who can adapt to customers at all levels & roles.– Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, self-motivation and energy– Be analytical by nature and training, capable of conceptualizing and presenting ideas– Possess project management skills with attention to detail– Have proven experience in developing comprehensive sales strategies along with success in implementing them within an organizational environment– Have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, be a good listener, and have the ability to present his/her views and ideas in a clear and concise manner– Must be intelligent, articulate, aggressive, and possess a strong work ethic and reputation for the highest degree of integrity and mature business judgment– Must be a team player with the temperament and style to work through people and communicate a sense of excitement, enthusiasm and purpose toward achieving defined goals and objectives– High energy, creative, flexible, results-oriented, team player– Able to multi-task on time-sensitive assignments– Attitude, determination, and drive to overcome all obstacles in meeting customer needs– Hands-on, “roll-up-the-sleeves” work style.– Ability to sell through technical hands-on demonstrations– Daily use of a CRM systemPhysical Demand/Work Environment– Approximately 80% of the individual’s overall work time is spent on the road working with the sales team and the customer base.– Domestic travel includes: Frequent visits to customers, regional sales meetings, trade shows, etc. Travel is done primarily by driving within Ontario & Quebec. Each trip may be 2-5 days in length.**Approximately 20% of the individual’s overall work time is spent performing administrative tasks such as:– Develop and implement distributor growth and end-user programs.– Analyze, develop, and communicate of price and distributor package deviations– Management of Territory T&E Budgets– Preparing suitable presentations for customers, the sales team, and other meetings– Providing required Reports to the country manager– Statistical reporting, follow-up done in company systems (CRM, QlikView, Excel, etc)– Establishing suitable reporting systems to provide information and reports– Developing Territory promotions– Reviewing employee performance & compensation along with the country managerFor more detailed information reach out to:Ross EvansSolid Solutions Canada Inc226-336-8158[email protected]
