We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to be the one of the first to join our team at HMP Millsike, a Category C men’s prison, located in the village of Full Sutton near YorkHMP Millsike will have an operational capacity of 1500 people who will spend their sentences learning the skills they need to find work on release as part of the government’s drive to cut reoffending. The prison site is currently under construction and Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract to begin delivering services in April 2025.This is a rare opportunity to be part of a new healthcare team from the inception of a brand new prison site.SalaryThis position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary of between £23,625 and £26,145 per annum – depending on experience.How will we support you?

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.What you’ll be doingAs an Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site
- Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning etc.

- English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
- Ability to prioritise workload
