Our client a fast growing and dynamic company is looking for a property accountant to be part of the team. someone that wants to make a difference. You will oversee a group of companies and properties supported by a team. Whether this is your first incursion in Real estate or you are an experience property accountant we want to talk to you.Must be bilingual( strong in either french or english and functional ni the other language but willing to learn)

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the property accountant will be responsible for the complete accounting cycle,. Including but are not limited to:
Maintain books, reconcile bank accounts, reconcile GL, GST remittance
Invoicing and cash application rents and charges
Managing payments to suppliers
Prepare financial statements, ensure compliance and prepare for yearly audit
Monitoring leases, renewals and terminations
Budgets (prepare, track expenses, analyze variance)
Cash Flow (Forecast and manage liquidity)
Taxes (calculations, reserves, filing returns)
Review and analyze performance and produce monthly financial reports (KPI)Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a commerce related filed
A minimum of 3 years experience in accounting
Strong Excel
Experience with Yardi or Hopen ( an asset)
Strong English with a communcational FrenchSummary
