Requisition ID: 210584Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.The Senior Transfers Administrator is responsible for providing accurate and timely information to internal business lines at Scotia Wealth |ScotiaMcLeod, Scotia Trust, Private Investment Counsel and Scotia iTrade, as well as dealing with external financial institutions worldwide. The Senior Transfers Administrator is accountable for the process and procedures relating to transfers and manages the day-to-day relationships with internal and external clients, while prioritizing work initiatives. The incumbent is expected to know, understand, and meet the defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for transfer in and out requests. This individual will work as part of team to ensure the general email and phone line inquiries are answered on a timely basis and ensure timely updates on transfers are provided to internal partners, as well as external firms.Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Review transfer documentation and approve or reject, with a clear description and explanation
- Process transfers for Scotia Wealth business lines based on department standard timelines
- Respond to incoming branch and external institution inquiries
- Communicate rejects to the Branches in a clear, courteous, and detailed manner
- Provide prompt and accurate information / direction on transfers of products/accounts, meeting or exceeding the department defined SLA’s and adhering to regulatory body and department time frames
- Ensure that client signed directions/instructions are clear and meet transfer requirements
- Communicate with various internal teams on delivery/receipt of various products
- Provide a friendly courteous environment for clients to forward account transfer inquiries
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Financial industry work experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge and experience with Intralink FFT is an asset
- Knowledge of Broadridge applications is an asset
- Knowledge of other applications including Fundserv is an asset
- Knowledge of PC applications, specifically Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of securities products such as domestic GIC’s, Equities, Mutual Funds
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- General knowledge of operational and regulatory processes governing the Wealth Management industry in Canada is an asset
- The flexibility to work overtime when required
- A high degree of accuracy to process complex high value transfers
- The ability to shift priorities and work with short deadlines
- The ability to work effectively independently and multi-task in a team-oriented environment
- The ability to work well under pressure
