The duty site is 615 Discovery Drive NE, Huntsville, AL. This is a non-exempt hourly wage position. Military experience is a plus.Job Description:Under general supervision, maintains the Proposal Reference Library, Past Performance Library, the Life Cycle Management dashboard and database; Publications folders on the Vault and SharePoint programs, and the Small Business Information System (SBIS). This maintenance requires the employee to write, edit, organize, populate, retrieve information from these tools; coordinate with small businesses to ensure growth of SBIS and accuracy of reported data; and report status in support of the technical Business Unit and Subsidiary Managers.Responsibilities:

  • Conducts research as directed by the Business Development Team using the Federal Business Opportunities data site and the Corporation’s subscription service, GOV WIN.
  • Manages the Publications Department Work Order Log ensuring requests submitted by technical and business operations staff members are properly recorded, assigned, and products delivered on time with appropriate close-out annotated in the log.
  • Responsible for writing press releases and assisting the in the development of marketing materials appropriate for specifically designated audiences.
  • Helps the BD and proposal staff to populate data calls in support of capture and proposal management.
  • Tracks and reports quarterly conferences, projected industry days for specific opportunities, and training opportunities for technical staff and business operations staff consideration.
  • Assists in the production of soft and hard copy media products that may include manuals, disc compilations, proposal books, proposal color reviews, briefings, marketing materials, website changes, and after-action reports.
  • Assists in the creation of the Corporate Newsletter (CUBE) for subsequent review by the management.
  • Assists in capturing, recording, and reporting capture management efforts and proposal production metrics.
  • Coordinates directly with the technical managers and the business operations staff to conduct specifically requested research on key opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must have two years’ experience of Microsoft Office Suite with a skill rating of 3 out of 5.
  • Must have experience of using a computer in a network environment?
  • Two years’ experience of writing and assisting in marketing materials.
