That’s why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.Position Overview:The Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential and inpatient milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.Schedule:

  • Full-time, 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week)
  • 3rd, 10pm-6:30am
  • Rotating weekends and holidays required

How Behavior Health Technicians Empower Recovery:

  • Partners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programming
  • Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreation
  • Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in charts
  • Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction. Monitors and documents exercise.
  • Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checks

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required with one year of Mental health experience or
  • Bachelors degree in Mental health field with 0-1 year of experience
  • Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive
  • Previous direct mental health experience preferred
